Syd Hosie Racing was established in 2022 when a permit was granted to train his own horses.
After many years of having Horses with trainers across the UK.
Being from a Horse background, he had ponies as a kid and has shown a keen interest in the equine world ever since.
Having construction roots and experience of building and maintain many Gallops across the southwest stands me in good steed to know what it takes to train horse to their full potential, and this has become my obsession to be the best at what I do.
I acknowledge that I still have plenty to learn but the yard produces winners and will continue to do so we have a great team around us and are looking for owners to take along the way.
We may be a small yard but we punch above are weight every time since setting up Sandhills Farm as one of the leading dual-purpose yards in Dorset we have produced a Grade 2 Cheltenham Winner and a Glorious Goodwood Winner and after a first season tally of 9 winners and £120,000 in prize money we have now started 2023-24 with 8 winners and £110,00 in prize money so far.
We are a welcoming yard and have some very nice Horses for sale and are home to some fans favourites including Rock My Way, Lieutenant Rocco and Wincanton specialist Harlem Soul.
